Fade in/fade out doesn't work on guitar tracks

Hi, I have problem with fade in/fade out. On the track, the signal changes visually, but there is no change in the audio. It doesn't work only on guitar track. How can I fix that?

Item fades are pre-fx. Often electric guitars has lots of distortion so small entry fades are kinda not audible (the signal is already boosted a lot by distortion). You can make track volume automation though.

+1 - just decreasing the track volume by dragging down the track from the top or using the edge fade thingee -- particularly on a guitar track using a distorted amp plugin -- will typically give you not much change for most of the way, and then suddenly down to nothing. Use env/volume (automation) in these cases.
