Video Window problem.

Hi All, Recently, when I open a video project & call up the Video Window it appears in a massive form - I have to keep resizing it. Is this normal or have I caused it to happen? I have "Preserve video aspect' and "Resize video window to original video size" ticked.

Then you video's size must be bigger than you expect. Go to project settings, choose Video tab and set the size you want. Of course, you can Save it as default project settings or save the project as a template and load it every time you run Reaper. Another option is to insert Video processor with a preset Basic helpers: Track opacity/zoom/pan to Monitoring FX chain. This one will affect all the projects and you don't need to set it per project.

Hi vitalker, Thanks for the message. I went to the Video settings, as you suggested, & changed the size of the window - which now opens up to a smaller, more manageable size on the project. Great. Just what I wanted. But will that affect other things later on in the process I wonder - say in Rendering for example. I know the size has to be 1920 x 1080 to get a video onto Instagram.
