Anybody with EZdrummer getting this?

1. Load up EZD. It creates all the tracks for you. 2. Play something, you have sound. 3. The first track is only for MIDI source, IIRC. Click on the folder icon to group the drum channels. 4. Click on the last track's folder icon to close folder group. 5. Play something, YOU DON'T HAVE SOUND! Why is this? It would make sense to me that when creating a drum folder this way all the connections would still work and it would output the sound as it normally is.

Midi doesn't send from a parent tracks to folder tracks. You need to either move your track w/ the midi on it out of the folder or enable feedback in routing (project settings).I believe Dark Star posted a thread somewhere on here about using feedback routing, personally I just move the track.

To me this doesn't make sense, as there is no MIDI involved in sending to folder tracks, they are only audio outputs of EZD plugin. The track that is folder parent is the track on which EZD is loaded and the only one which needs MIDI to work, other tracks don't need it as they are only outputting audio.

Sorry,it's early, lol. It wont send audio to the folder tracks, because then it would be sending audio to & also recieving audio from the folder tracks, thus feedback routing.Create another track, make it the parent track then all's well. The reason for moving the midi track is so you can see your midi in the TCP when collapsing.

OK, NEVER make a VSTi track into a folder. it just won't work. :) If you want to use a folder add two tracks before and after the ones you want to folder. When you've got your multi-out VSTi config and tracks sorted out the way you want, then save them all as a Track template. You'll not need to worry about it again. Here's the link to the configuration methods: Configuring Multi-Output VSTis:
